The massively popular manga Attack on Titan is reportedly about to get a new bonus chapter. The release will be an 18-page booklet contained in the series’ first official art book, The Fly, despite being a new volume simply titled “Volume 35.”
The “Bad Boys” chapter of the Attack on Titan manga will come after its contentious 18-page conclusion.
Attack on Titan Story:
Centuries ago, mankind was slaughtered to near extinction by monstrous humanoid creatures called Titans, forcing humans to hide in fear behind enormous concentric walls. What makes these giants truly terrifying is that their taste for human flesh is not born out of hunger but what appears to be out of pleasure. To ensure their survival, the remnants of humanity began living within defensive barriers, resulting in one hundred years without a single titan encounter. However, that fragile calm is soon shattered when a colossal Titan manages to breach the supposedly impregnable outer wall, reigniting the fight for survival against the man-eating abominations.
“About 2.5 years have passed since Attack on Titan’s serialization came to an end. We’re now publishing a color art book. I feel incredibly honored. Attack on Titan creator Hajime Isayama remarked, “I’m delighted that the pinnacle of everything I’ve done so far has been put into a book. I’m also working on a brand-new manga for this art book. Attack on Titan Volume 35’s bonus section contains this manga. I’m hoping you’re anticipating it.”
The Attack on Titan art book, Volume 35, will be released on April 30, 2024, in Japan.
